About the Role:
Do you love turning data into real-world change? Educate!, an award-winning nonprofit empowering youth across Africa, is looking for a detail-oriented M&E/Performance Metrics Officer to drive impact measurement for our Out of School Youth (OOSY) program.
In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our data systems—ensuring accurate reporting, training field teams, and uncovering insights that shape how we support young entrepreneurs. What You’ll Do:
Data Coordination (40%) – Support field teams in tracking bootcamp progress, attendance, and business milestones. Train staff on M&E tools and ensure high-quality data collection.
System Maintenance (20%) – Keep digital tools (SurveyCTO, Google Forms) and youth databases up-to-date and error-free.
Analysis & Reporting (20%) – Crunch numbers, spot trends, and prepare reports that guide program decisions.
Quality Assurance (20%) – Review data for accuracy, flag inconsistencies, and help teams improve their reporting.
Who We’re Looking For:
✔ Education: Degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, or related field.
✔ Experience: 1–2 years in M&E, data analysis, or research (experience in youth programs is a plus!).
✔ Tech Skills: Proficient in Excel, SurveyCTO, Google Forms, and preferably SPSS/STATA/R.
✔ Personality: Organized, detail-obsessed, and a clear communicator who loves problem-solving.
