Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and progressive pharmacist to join our Medicines Information and Governance Team (MI&G) as the Senior Clinical Effectiveness Pharmacist. This role presents an exciting opportunity to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our medicines resource.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior pharmacists, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize the use of medicines in line with GGC priorities.
- Lead specific projects commissioned by the Area Drug and Therapeutics Committee (ADTC), Pharmacy Management Group (PMG), and Pharmacy Services.
- Author safe and effective prescribing guidelines in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
- Support education and training initiatives within the MI&G team.
- Engage in patient-facing clinical pharmacy duties.
No prior experience in Clinical Effectiveness is necessary, as we will support your development in this area.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills with an understanding of prescribing governance to promote safe and effective pharmaceutical care.
- Attention to detail and competent skills in data handling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Self-motivated and a dedicated team player.
